FRANKLIN, Tenn., March 24, 2021 – PopHealthCare, a leader in home-based, primary care and prospective and retrospective risk-adjustment services, today announced it has formed a new partnership with Devoted Health, a next-generation Medicare Advantage (MA) health plan.
With this new partnership, PopHealthCare has expanded its business footprint into the Arizona Medicare Advantage market and is now offering its fully integrated approach to in-home care delivery in 15 states. For Devoted Health, the partnership enables the company to offer a broader base of services and provide advanced home-based primary care to its MA members.
“We’re delighted to be teaming up with Devoted Health and expanding our business footprint in Maricopa County,“ said Carol MacLean, Vice President, Market Operations at PopHealthCare. “Devoted members in Arizona will now have full access to CareSight, our physician-led, technology-enhanced modern-day house call program that offers medical, behavioral, palliative, and social support to individuals with complex medical needs.”
“We were searching for a mobile provider group that would expand our base of services to include advanced in-home primary care services,” said Keith Dines, Arizona Market President at Devoted Health. “When we collaborated with PopHealthCare, we could see almost immediately that it was a natural fit for both companies. Our partnership with PopHealthCare dovetails perfectly with our business model to be a ‘payvidor’ that integrates being both a payor and provider of health care services. And the fact that PopHealthCare currently has working relationships with more than 180 facilities in Arizona opens up new possibilities for our company to reach new members.”
Devoted Health is the fastest growing MA plan in the four states it currently serves: Arizona, Florida, Texas and Ohio. In Arizona, Devoted Health currently serves Maricopa County, the fourth most populous county in the United States and the home of almost 4.5 million people as well as the city of Phoenix.
“Since its founding in 2018, Devoted Health has brought a new energy and innovative ideas to the Medicare Advantage market,” MacLean said. “This new partnership provides a true opportunity for both companies to grow together, expand into new markets, and provide a new level of integrated services for Medicare members. We’re excited about the possibilities!”
